Welcome and Thank You for Visiting my Site!

I am Lucía Gallegos, an English and Spanish Registered Psycotherapist (Qualifying)  and I am here to walk together on a healing journey! My goal is to provide clients from all over Toronto with  a warm and empathic space to feel encouraged and safe when life stressors happen.

You might be experiencing some of the challenges below.

Life Transitions
We are in constant change, so you might find yourself dealing with different challenges that have altered the structure of your life as you knew it before.  When things around us change we can sometimes feel overwhelmed by the unknown, and not feeling ready to adjust to new realities.

You might feel stuck in an intimate relationship, or you are single looking to start a healthy relationship.  You might also feel frustrated,  angry or  sad towards colleagues, family members and friends.  Even though it is not possible to change how others behave, it is possible  to create healthier relationships.

These factors  can trigger different emotions, such as depression, anxiety, anger, fear, making us feel stuck or not able to move forward.  Facing these challenges alone is not easy. My passion is to walk together with you in a therapeutic journey. You are unique. I believe that we all deserve to be happy, and that we can be happy.

We can work together on the different challenges you are curently  facing  at any of my two  offices located in Toronto, close to main subway stations (Dupon and Christie).
My Approach

Im focused on helping adults and couples find meaning to their life experiences.  Life happens and you are not alone in your struggle.

My priority is to make sure you feel  comfortable in a warm environment by creating strong therapeutic relationship.  I have the experience to design strategies that fit your necessities, yet I respect  your own knowledge and experience. I appreciate the  needs of a diverse multicultural society and the importance of respecting the uniqueness of each client  as a way to improve well-being.

What to expect on the first meeting.

Congratulations!, taking the decision to attend therapy is the first step.

I understand that this may not be easy sometimes. You may have different questions and concerns about therapy, about me as therapist and how therapy works. This is normal; thus,  he purpose in this session is to see if (i) I am a good fit for you and (ii) if you feel comfortable with my therapeutic approach and techniques.  Then we can decide on arranging following session to work on your concerns. Feel free to ask me any question during our first encounter. I will be more than happy to answer them.

I look forward to working with you, learning about your concerns, and moving together with you in a positive direction.

You Are not Alone!
